Inaugural local community singing competition, launching September 1st, 2013
Do you love to sing? Do you know someone who is talented but hasn't had the right opportunity?
Fun-key music and the Frankston performing arts community are looking for "The Voice of Frankston" and age is no barrier.
We are proud to announce we are hosting our solo artist singing competition. Whether you are a budding young singer, an aspiring adult performer or a senior with a passion for entertaining, this is the chance of a lifetime for you.
You will compete in one of three age groups.
JUNIOR Up to age 15
ADULT 16 to 59
SENIOR 60 years and over
Event Objective
The main aim of this event is to raise the awareness of Frankston as a cultural city whilst encouraging talent of all ages by giving them a forum to showcase their talents and create a positive environment for the people in Frankston to feel safe and happy
SHARE IN A GRAND PRIZE POOL OF OVER $10,000
All finalists will receive a fun-key music voucher to the value of $100 which can be used for singing, guitar or piano lessons PLUS special offers from Frankston businesses.
Grand Finalists will receive a 'light make up and hair style' from Rhiannon Pritchard Beauty for the Grand Final performance.
The winner from each category will receive prizes to the value of $2,500
- Filming of a video clip, for a song of their choice, from AV Friend Productions
- A professional recording session
- An interview with Pearl Magazine
- Make up for CD cover shoot from Rhiannon Pritchard Beauty
- CD cover photo shoot photography by Danni Knight Photography
- Support and vouchers from local businesses
- Chance to perform at local events including; The Frankston Water Front Festival & Frankston Childrens Day.
- Above of all of this, the event will be filmed and submitted for Community TV
